OPERATOR TRAINING

Aerial work platform operator training must be conducted by IPAF certified trainers in Dingli, including "theory" and "practice", in accordance with the IPAF training process, the class content covers the necessary regulatory guidelines for working at height, safety inspection and operation of all types of aerial work platforms, parts and structural components, etc., all-round delivery of safe and efficient concept of working at height.


  • WHAT IS AWP OPERATOR TRAINING?

    AWP operator training is an ANSI requirement. If you are going to operate an AWP, such as a boom lift or scissor lift, you’re required to have AWP operator training. During AWP training, you’ll learn:

    · AWP manuals, decals, and placards

    · Machine components and controls

    · Inspection requirements

    · Machine safety

    · How to properly operate an AWP


  • AWP OPERATOR TRAINING

    · Course Length: From half a day up to three days (depending on machine category)

    · Theory eLearning available

    ·  PAL Card on completion

    This training course instructs an operator to prepare and safely operate various types of AWPs, also referred to as cherry pickers, aerial lifts or scissor lifts. Categories include Static Vertical (1a), Static Boom (1b), Mobile Vertical (3a), Mobile Boom (3b), Specialist Machines (SPECIAL).

     

    The training course for Push Around Vertical (PAV) AWPs takes half a day and Insulated Aerial device (IAD) AWPs takes two days.

     

    Duration of the course is variable depending on the type of course, trainee experience, machine complexity, and the number of machine categories. Seven hours will be a minimum for one day.
